Release notes:
- Cleaner visuals (less noisy)
- Improved enemy AI
- RPG leveling and combat systems
- Progressive maps that scale in difficulty
- Improved dialog and hint system
- Enemies drop loot in the form of coins, potions that can be used any time, and hearts that heal immediately on pickup
- Save game
- Hall of Legends for deceased characters, including titles for achievements
- A myriad of minor bug fixes
- Ability to loot, buy, and use potions
- Additional music so the same score isn't repeating
Future Plans:
- Some tilemap additions to differentiate later levels from earlier levels
- More interactive environment elements
- The final battle with tower defense-like elements
- 2 new enemy types with different behaviors and strategies
- temporary power ups
- 2 new unlockable relics for the player
- More AI improvements
- Possible fog of war - will have to feel this one out
- More fine-tuning of scaling of difficulty and loot
